The term ‘low-code’ was defined by Forrester Research in 2014 to describe a new development platform that enables rapid application delivery with a minimum of hand-coding, and quick setup and deployment, for systems of engagement. Since then, low-code has fragmented into tools for citizen developers to IT Pros and everything in between. In addition, low-code tools for IT Pros have further fragmented into model-based low-code development and language-based low-code development.
Attend this webinar to hear John Rymer, VP, Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, discuss the different types of IT Pro low-code offerings and what they bring to the table. John will then have a question and answer session with Keith Arteaga, IT Manager at Brunswick Bowling, to discuss his experiences using low-code development to rewrite a core business application running on multiple servers and database platforms. The final presenter will be Yad Jaura, Head of International Marketing at LANSA, and he will discuss LANSA’s unique low-code offering how its language-based approach provides all the productivity of low-code but still affords you the high control of standard development.
